At STS Sensors, we have developed a sensor system to improve pressure monitoring in tank systems.

Use case: Pressure monitoring for explosion prevention in tank systems

Application

A sensor system is used to monitor the static and dynamic pressure in tank systems, for example in the event of sudden pressure increases caused by explosions. It reliably measures a variety of media, including organic and inorganic dusts, dyes, salts, solvents, alkalis and acids (e.g. in cleaning processes). The sensor is mounted above the maximum fill level of the tank.

Early detection of critical pressure conditions to prevent potential explosions and increase safety in industrial processes.
