A New Chapter at STS

At STS Sensors, an exciting new chapter has begun: Alain von Ritter assumes the position of Chairman of the Board, succeeding Dr. Chris Radloff, who has held the role with great dedication over the past years.

Alain, the son of company co-founder Michael von Ritter, is no stranger to STS. With deep roots in the company and a strong emotional connection to its people and values, he brings both continuity and a fresh perspective. His appointment marks not only a generational transition but also a reaffirmation of STS’s core philosophy: long-term thinking, responsibility, and people-first leadership.

In his very first address to the team, Alain made it clear what drives him: “It’s about people.” He reminded everyone that while technological excellence and business performance are important, a healthy company culture begins with appreciation and trust. “We want to create a place where people enjoy coming to work – and feel valued for who they are,” he said.

At the same time, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Chris Radloff. His contribution has been invaluable, and we are grateful for his ongoing support as part of the Board.
