What to expect

  • Carrying out production orders in accordance with specifications
  • Carrying out welding, casting and soldering work Assembly work on finished and semi-finished products
  • Independently setting up, operating and monitoring machinery
  • Calibration and testing work, as well as visual inspections (sometimes under a microscope)
  • Quality assurance in accordance with specification

Your challenge

You will develop automation solutions to improve
efficiency and programme and optimise production and
test systems using LabVIEW/TestStand. You will also create measurement and
analysis algorithms, data visualisations and technical
documentation, and ensure
trouble-free system operation through fault analysis. Working closely with
Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering and external
partners, you will continuously further develop existing systems

 What you’ll need

You hold a degree in engineering in
electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable
field. Excellent knowledge of measurement, control and
regulation technology, as well as experience with LabVIEW, are essential.
Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills,
together with a structured approach to work, form the basis
for optimal solutions. The ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills
and the ability to take the initiative round off your profile. You are fluent
in German and have good communication skills in English.

Your challenge

You will develop and design sensors, pressure gauges
and equipment, taking into account applicable standards,
customer requirements and manufacturing considerations. In doing so,
you will carry out strength calculations and FEM analyses and
ensure the functionality and fatigue strength of your designs. In interdisciplinary projects, you will actively drive forward the continuous
optimisation and modularisation of products and
manufacturing processes.

What you’ll need

Mechanical design is your passion. You have
extensive knowledge of welding and hygiene regulations
and experience in strength calculations. In addition,
you are familiar with the use of stainless steels, duplex steels, titanium
and Inconel. You have a background in education and training in the field of design
or mechanical engineering, along with relevant experience in a
comparable industry. You are fluent in German
and have good communication skills in English.

Role description

As Area Sales Manager for Northern Germany, you will be responsible for the sales of STS’s sensor solutions in your region and for developing existing customer relationships whilst tapping into new markets. Your responsibilities will include actively acquiring new customers, supporting OEMs and industry partners, delivering product presentations, and providing technical advice on measurement solutions for the water and industrial sectors. You will prepare quotations, conduct contract negotiations and work closely with the office team, technical support and product management to deliver bespoke solutions. This is a full-time role carried out entirely remotely, meaning you will work independently from your home office and make regular client visits in northern Germany. You will also monitor the market, identify growth opportunities and contribute to the strategic development of the sales territory. 

Qualifications

Sales & Customer Orientation

Strong technical sales skills, experience in B2B sales of industrial or measurement technology solutions, and a strong focus on service and customer needs. 

Technical understanding

Solid technical expertise, ideally in the fields of sensor technology, measurement technology, electrical engineering or process engineering, combined with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easy to understand.

Communication & Negotiation:

Confident written and spoken communication skills in German (knowledge of English would be an advantage), a confident manner, and proven negotiation and presentation skills.

Self-organisation & Analysis:

High level of self-motivation, a structured approach to working remotely, and the ability to plan sales activities and analyse market and customer data.
At least 10 years’ experience in sales
